Stryi City Hospital received new equipment from I-AR-CI (Kyiv), a partner of UKRPOL (Stryi), including an Australian-made ventilator to provide artificial gas exchange between air (or a special mixture) and the alveolar lung space and a portable suction pump ac/dc, SUF01-A01, to suck mucous secretions from the patient's body in the management and treatment of respiratory diseases.
According to Osyp Behei, director of the Stryi Central City Hospital, these devices are fully ready for use, i.e. they have been connected by Kyiv specialists, and specialists from the capital and Israel have trained local doctors on their use. Their advantage is that they can be both stationary and portable, meaning that they can be used when transporting a patient in an ambulance or in another department in other emergencies. "These are modern devices of a new generation, which are actually designed to help seriously ill patients with pneumonia and COVID-19, and which we did not have before. Our team is extremely grateful for such charitable assistance in the person of Sergey Konstantinovich Artyukh, a representative of I-Arts, and the company UKRPOL in the person of Sergey Nikolayevich Kovalchuk," said Osip Begey.
It should be noted that UKRPOL (Stryi) and I-Ar-CI (Kyiv) are companies of the same holding and are socially responsible businesses. "Enhanced Resource Company (ERC) is a professional international distributor. It has been operating in Ukraine since 1995 and promotes advanced technologies and builds long-term partnerships with leading global manufacturers as well as start-up companies. Ukrpol was established in 1997 and has since gained a reputation as a reliable partner that produces high quality products. A well-thought-out system of work and modern technologies have made the company a leading printing company today. Both companies consider philanthropy to be an integral part of a successful business.
At the presentation of the machines to journalists, Sergey Kovalchuk said: "At a critical time in the fight against the pandemic, we consider it necessary to concentrate all our efforts to fight the coronavirus and support doctors and nurses in their hard work. Of course, I would like to see this medical equipment used as little as possible. I would like our example of charity to become a role model and restore faith in humanity and unselfishness."
