On October 17-18, 2024, Lviv hosted the II International Conference of Printers, Converters and Buyers, bringing together representatives of the printing and packaging industry from different countries. The event, held under the slogan “Print for Victory”, emphasized the role of the printing industry in economic recovery during the war. The conference, which was supported by Ukrpol Printing Company, became a platform for the exchange of knowledge, innovations and technologies.

The first day of the event began at the Lviv Polytechnic Institute of Printing, where participants were greeted by Jacek Kusmerczyk, Chancellor of the Polish Knights of Gutenberg, and Yaroslav Uhryn, Director of the Institute. Speakers, including representatives from Poland, emphasized the importance of economic cooperation. Bernd Zipper from Zipper Consulting emphasized the search for new markets in his report on the future of the industry, and Valeriy Kryvoshey highlighted the issue of adaptation of the packaging industry.

The second day was dedicated to discussing business challenges, including financial aspects and investments. An important moment was when Ukrpol Printing Company was awarded the Order of the Patron of the Polish Brotherhood of Knights Gutenberg for its contribution to the development of the industry. The conference concluded with panel discussions on the future of printing and a visit of foreign guests to Ukrpol's Stryi plant, demonstrating the steadfast development of Ukrainian printing in difficult conditions.
