Establishment
The company was founded by Serhiy Kovalchuk in 1997. Firstly, the company had to be a printing house of operational printing, but a well-thought-out system of work and attraction of new technologies helped Ukrpol to become one of the leaders in the printing industry in Ukraine.
Introduction of label production
In 2000, the company's production area already covers 1,000 m². This made it possible to install new equipment and start the production of foil labels.
Enterprise expansion
The growth of demand for Ukrpol products has contributed to the expansion of production capacity. In 2004, a new factory with an area of 5,000 m² was opened. The range of products has also expanded: paper labels, books and advertising and magazine products are in greatest demand.
Technology updates
From 2005 to 2007 there was an improvement in technology. The company implements an automated process control system A-System, which minimizes the percentage of shortages and optimizes the execution of orders. In 2007 the quality management system - ISO 9001 was introduced.
The second production building was opened
In June 2010, a second production site with an area of 10,000 m² was built. Its purpose - the manufacture of cardboard packaging, which is in demand in food, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, perfumes and cosmetics and other industries. The building also houses the company's headquarters.
Capacity growth
In 2015–2017, the number of production lines increased. From now on, Ukrpol offers such services as holograms, lamination, 3D packaging, envelopes and other products. The company is introducing new standards: ISO 22000 (HACCP) and FSC-STD-40-004.
Opening of the flexible packaging section
2019 ended for the company with the opening of a section for the production of flexible packaging based on aluminum foil for the pharmaceutical, food and household industries.
Transition to new security standards
At the beginning of 2021, the company implemented the requirements of the BRCGS Packaging and Packaging Materials standard, which allowed to expand access to the European market.
